Songhoy Blues
Songhoy Blues are a four-piece rock band from northern Mali, formed in Bamako by members of the Songhoy community. They play desert blues with a more acoustic direction on their album Héritage, which draws on Malian musical heritage. The record features guests including Afel Bocoum, Madou Diabaté, Neba Solo, and Rokia Koné.
